Mt. Baker crater, Roman Wall? Tho perhaps wine amongst crevasses is pushing it.

Enjoyed a 98 M. Sorrel Hermitage blanc Friday night at Chiwaukum Lake. McHue basin beyond is sublime.

The Sorrel made me think of a white version of an nice aged CnPape rouge.

Looking forward to BeauFest 2010.

Icy peak just E of Shuksan.

Still LOTS of snow in the high alpine for this time of year (though melting fast). These glaciers were pretty closed up and safe still. Nothing like last summer.

Nice. My one time up Icy was in mid-August (about 15 years ago) and we were caught in heavy snowfall - pretty surreal.

You should seriously email the photo to M. Geoffray, he will appreciate it. http://www.chateau-thivin.com/contact.php
