Cask Strength Lonach, aged 42 yrs, distilled at Strathisla distillery in 1967, bottled 2009, alc 41.1% abv...nose is orange peel, a hint of anise and a floral note....on the palate it is exceptionally smooth and silky with dried fruits,cherry wood, nuts, a bit of chinese spice and a very mild peaty-ness.... remarkable in texture, balance and finish... a marvelous dram....worth searching for if this is your "sort of thing"
