If you have a Naim 42.5 pre, it's really worth trading out for a 32.5

Lol. You are posting on the wrong board with this. What a fucking Naim wanker to go for the 32.5 over the 42.5! I suppose you prefer the Olive stuff over the new look. Go get yourself spoof audio system like a good boy.

Eh? I'm chrome bumper all the way.

You seriously would take a 42.5 over a 32.5?

Chrome bumper Naim is the Arianna Occhipinti of the audio world.

Did you ever have an audio retailer ask if you really like the way Naim sounds or are you just buying it because it looks nice on your shelf?

I was asked a version of this last time I ordered a few bottles of Frappato.

I gave up on chrome bumper a long ways back. While a properly serviced set is still quite nice, it just doesn't compare to newer equipment.

Does it look nice? Sure. Is that a sin? Never.

Naim really does present a better, more natural rendition than most stuff out there. And it's comparatively much cheaper than the other brands.
