You should use the Cocchi Americano instead of the lillet blanc. Much better. Great drink.

Wouldn't be the same drink, what's your name for it?

Corpse Reviver #2.

The original recipes called for "Kina Lillet," which was an orange-colored, sweet, wine-based aperitif with a healthy dose of quinine. The current Lillet blanc has about as much quinine as Miller Lite has...anything. Cocchi Americano (full disclosure--John and I are both wholesalers of this product) is muuuuuuch closer to the idea of Kina Lillet.

Now, Lillet do make a small about of extra-quininey stuff (I think it's called "Reserve.") Never seen it in the States.

Oh, and the dash of absinthe is essential.
