Shout outs?

Hmmmm. Anyhow, some kind and well-deserved words for Brother Levi and also for the inimitable Juliette Pope, here.

Qudos for Levi. But this is like the Shildknecht reviews of Beaujolais, not good for those of us at WD.

Oh and over on the Lamb cooking thread I think the Professor may have issued a subtle challenge to your treatment of Lamb. Maybe a cook off is in order?

I wonder what the reviewer means by abyssal. In Portuguese, at least, it would be very negative.
It means "very, very, deep" and in this sentence that is a good thing, although "deep" or "very deep" would have been perfectly fine without the sentence coming across wrong.

This whole competitive cooking thing is a perversion borne of the Food Network. I'm not signing up.

What if the Cooking Channel carries it with a special guest hosting by the VLM?

Winner gets to do car bombs with the VLM while we squeeze off a few rounds at the loser.
