That about covers it.

Considering that it was basically a tutorial in linear free energy relationships applied to biological effects, maybe yes, maybe not...

Hansch's class sounds fascinating...

He was an abysmally dry lecturer, but as he was lecturing about his life's research, a subject that I drew upon repeatedly later in my career, yes it was. It was one of those cases where I learned a lot in spite of the lectures.

I was at Pitzer around that time, but took a lot of classes at Pomona (art history, anthropology and theatre set design; oddly, all of which play into what I'm doing now). The system of being able to cross-register was great, eh?

Ah, a Pitzer student! (I'll suppress all those spiteful jabs about babysitting for the rich) My friend the future Rhino manager was also at Pitzer, along with a few of his bandmates. The descendent of that band lives on to this day.

Anyway...small world. I miss Juanita's and In-n-Out!

Indeed!

Wow, that's the best definition of dating I've ever seen.

Hey, it worked for me!

Talk about anecdotes, not effects!

Remind me to tell you the story about the LFER IPO I turned down once, it's a good one.
