What is the homage and what did he learn? It sounds like he rejects all their practices and virtues.

Not to interrupt your moment with Robert but if you had a chance to meet Abe (and you should make that chance), much would become clear. He is a true eccentric.

As I recall I greatly preferred the Bianco Sulle Bucce to the Ribolla.
