Tannat in Spain?

Other than a few vague references on the web to it being a component of the blend in wine X or Y, I haven't encountered any indication of Tannat being planted in Spain. Which is surprising, given that it is frequently encountered in Basque wines on the French side of the border, and was supposedly brought to Uruguay by Basque settlers. Does anyone know of significant traditional plantings of Tannat in Spain? (Not experimental or part of an "international" vineyard).
