Well, seeing the terrinly sad news Eric has posted on the board, I think I may open one of my bottles of this stuff in memory of Marcel Lapierre, who died last night.

FWIW (and funny, me popping up out of nowhere after months of lurkage), though the wine did seem to me a bit on high-alcohol side, it also manages a delicacy and grace that are truly extraordinary.

That was my first and I agree with you Levi; the only better showings I had were at Zuni later in the year.
