Art of Eating, the Wine Disorder Issue

David Lillie asked me to mention that he could not have completed this piece without help from friends and colleagues. In particular, he pointed to one person in particular, our own SFJoe, who provided insight and suggestions on the technical aspects of the article as well providing editing, encouragement and support.

I guess wine and food rags don't have an acknowledgment section.

Indeed, if we all had a SFJoe in our back pocket, life would be much easier.
Senators are really the most useful back pocket furnishings. SFJ's are negligible in comparison.

My minor contributions to David's great piece are not worth mentioning, and my notion is that most of them wound up on the cutting room floor anyway. Though I haven't seen the published piece yet. But it was great to get to read DL's full piece before it was chopped. You can learn a lot from that guy.

SFJoe, we are looking forward to your AoE piece on Huet.

Or mushroom foraging.

Don't hold your breath, Levi. The only people IME more closed mouthed than mycotrophes are truffle hunters... and they're certifiably wacked.

My friend Connie's book is due out next month. She dishes more than I would.

Your reference is missing its leading h, so people will be better served using this link. It looks like a cool book.

I hope either will work now, thanks.

I haven't seen it to read, but the galleys were gorgeous.
