Larry Coryell - Fairyland

Larry plays Jimi.

A GREAT album. I found an English Philips pressing. Recorded live in Montreaux, 1971. The golden age.

Weird for you guys who were actually there having us younger folk fetishize it?

Never heard that one, BJ...sounds interesting. Eden may have something to add vis-a-vis Chuck. Most of the LC stuff I listened to was as a side musician (though his first album Lady Coryell is kinda interesting, with those throttled chicken vocals of his..). Great guitarist...electric and acoustic, that's for sure.

The "golden age" certainly was a good period for Miles....and as for me, it's nice to have someone rediscover this stuff.
