I am reliably informed that folks who are looking for a few more bottles of '09 Tardive might email or call CSW. The website will not be the way to go for this one.
Cuvee Marcel going damn quick. I got two bottles when it was at 42 in stock an hour or so ago. Now there's three left. I'm sure they'll get more though.originally posted by Jim Hanlon:

PSA -- Chambers has Roilette, Roilette Tardive, Lapierre, and Lapierre Cuvee Marcel all on its web page at the moment.
Hope so, all gone now.originally posted by lars makie:

For fuck's sake, Nathan, you're not a newbie anymore. You must realize that Lapierre's 09's, especially the Marcel, are going to be bought up especially quickly now, whatever pace other 09 Beaujolais are selling at.

Actually, it was pretty lame; damn, I couldn't even remember to write 'n00b' instead of 'newbie.' But thank you for your kind words.
The rifle thing came up later, so I couldn't incorporate it. I've been asking myself in the meantime, however, whether Nathan developed this amusing conceit from the text of his real life experience, or whether it was an act of pure creation. And if the former, I mean, if he was actually in the neighborhood, peering in through my window, for heaven's sake, why didn't he come in and have a glass of wine? I don't mind someone pointing a gun at me - nobody's perfect - but a snub is not to be borne.
