TN: 2009 Perraud Cotes de la Molieres Beaujolais Villages

i liked the cote du poquelin but didn't care for the moulin a vent. i found it kind of flabby and uninteresting.

Going by cellartracker, Salil found it gorgeous. The bottle I'm drinking right now is like a super-duper acidic nouveau - uninspiring to say the least, although the nose was pleasantly fruity when it was opened. I'm prepared to accept that there could be some variation with this one, though.

The bottle I posted about on CT was gorgeous. Robert Dentice opened it a few weeks ago at a dinner, and I enjoyed it even more than a magnum of the 09 Coudert Tardive that had just preceded it that evening.

Had another bottle last week, and found it was painful early with really screechy acidity - then it settled down after a couple of hours and became very tasty, though not to the heights of the first. Certainly interesting, and I'll certainly be opening another bottle in some time...
