2005 Domaine de l'Ecu Expression de Gneiss, Muscadet Sevre et Maine, Sur Lie (Guy Bossard), alc 12%, $15...Barb quickly (20 minutes from inception to on the table!) whipped up some amazing Shrimp and Grits so we opened this to go with it...expressive on the nose...wide open, rich and expressive on the palate...the minerality melds into the tart lemon rind and lime flavors and balances the brisk acidity...it just came alive with the dish...at a great place right now
