1997 Fontanabianca Sori Burdin Barbaresco alc 13.5%..color is beginning to fade a little...nose is cigarette ash and leaves....palate is more fruit driven and rich but has a leaf/ash character as well...tannins are falling away...finish is warm and pleasant...comes alive with pasta with a ragu that includes olives, artichokes and italian sausage....More youthful than the '98 version a while back...
