V et S Fidele

With news that the current owners of Liverpool might be forced to sell and realise a loss on their 'investment', I got home from work at midnight local time and popped a V et S Fidele. Yellow, and oxidised. FML.

Just FWIW, the one bottle of Fidele I've had was wonderful. Taut and minerally.

This was my last of 4 bottles. The other 3 have been very good, so this was an aberrant bottle in my experience. I'm hoping my bottles of Argile are fine. This wasn't very oxidised, but I find my tolerance for oxidation in champagne much lower than before.

Still haven't tried an Argile, though I have a bottle sitting at home at the moment.

I love the Argile, contemplated opening that instead of the Fidele, but decided against it as the deal had not closed.
