Monje 2008 Tacoronte-Acentejo Tinto Tradicional

The tawny tigress 'mid the tangled teak
Drags to her purring cubs' enraptured ears
The harsh death-rattle in the pea-fowl's beak,
A jungle lullaby of blood and tears

I see 24 new posts since I took off for Asia the other day, and say to myself - hey, wonderful, it seems everyone's into Canary Islands wine! How come this newfound interest? Then of course the inevitable noob massacre...

Well, these Canarios are a resilient bunch.

I feel like a punching ball... And my english is not as good as I'd wish to defend myself from such a splurge of inventiveness... Though, still open to talk about canary wines, canarios or whatever...

Javier, your English is good, better than my Spanish, and you aren't being made fun of. This is people making jokes at each other.

Welcome to the board and we are happy to have the contribution of those that are from the regions of the wines we enjoy.

Now, now, I've been unfailingly polite to the newbies. It's the veterans that are pelted with rocks and garbage.

OMFG.

A chance to linger with a bottle

Tart and berryish with hints of earth. as it airs it becomes brighter and more vibrant. With still more time it develops into a balanced lushness that I find very attractive. Really stunning value.
