Village Corner to close

Dick is a force. I am looking forward to perusing Burgundy in his new location.

The combo he's looking for is going to be like finding a needle in a haystack, though - affordable square footage, in that neighborhood, with parking. I hope he strikes gold.

Parking? What's parking? He's gone w/o it for 40 years. I agree on the paucity of options nearby, but I have no doubt they can find something in the city limits.

Village Corner is back open in a new location, as of last Saturday. What's a year or so matter anyway?

25% off stock they've been sitting on for the past year (or so) for now. Some deals.

Oh yes, and they now have the elusive "parking".

I don't have any concerns about storage. Dick's a pro. Some are older and I wouldn't take a chance, but that's not because of storage.

I bought some '06 Bollig-Lehnert Piesporter Goldtropfchen Riesling *** Auslese for ~ $17 per. I've tasted it before and am looking forward to it again. Very nice wine.

I sought the new VC fruitlessly when I was in MI in August; now I know why. Might be out again in November and will go shopping there then for old time's sake.
