Triage wines

If BJ has a turntable, I still have some vinyl from the ECM days, etc.

Wow, this just keeps getting better.

Joel let's firm up a jeeb date - what dates look best for you? We can do mixed grill at our place. I just got 12 boxes, so there's lots of choices.

Have vinyl will travel. Need to grab that turntable too.

The left over part of Triage is now Vine Merchants in Oregon. They have some LD wines remaining, but they are no longer their official distributor. Once they are out of their stock, there is no longer a distributor who will carry them at this time. This of course could change in a week based on how things switch around. Recently Vine Merchants closed out 80% of their stock of Dressner wines, while keeping some of them the same priced based on they will anyways...like the SP68.

This is true. Vine Merchants is a new company which is owned by the former minority partner in Triage Washington/Oregon. They have some stock from us but we are no longer working with them. It will take us awhile to set up a new distribution mechanism in Oregon, but it will happen. We know we have had lots of loyal supporters in Oregon and we ask your patience.

Triage Washington continues to exist and we will continue to do business with them in the future. They have a nice bunch of Muscadets and Beaujolais arriving in a few weeks.

If anyone needs further information, please don't hesitate to contact me by this system's e-mail system.

Joe,
I hope that very soon you have a new company to work with in Oregon, for I retail your wines. I pre-ordered some magnums of Muscadets from the Old Oregon Triage and hopefully they will go to the new distributor. Your wines are loved here.

unless things have changed very recently, edmunds st. john is carried in washington by triage. (there is a little showing in their inventory.)

yeh..that was the point. esj don't show in japan well, and this trip back home, I wanted to move thru a few of his wines.

You can probably get it at either Esquin or McCarthy and Schiering, if they dont stock it they can likely get it with a couple days notice.

I would also recommend City Cellars in Wallingford. They are next to Bottleworks which is a great place to find and taste obscure local beer & cider (Stephan's Aldergrove, Finn River, etc).

As for ESJ, the '08 Bone Jolly & Porphyry Gamay, '04 Tablas Creek Roussanne, '07 Old Black Magic, and '05 Parmelee Syrah should all be available in Seattle.

Do you know which stores might still have the 07 Old Black Magic?
I could use a few more bottles.

The 08 Gamay Noir Witters needs a good decant if opened now. A bottle this week had some funky reductive stuff going on.

Thanks for the heads up on Bottleworks, that sounds like it may be worth a visit.

Mike had some, not sure if he still does.

For those in the area, check Jeebuz section. I think an art gallery and wine tasting might be fun together. We can basically take the place over.

I just ordered some Black Magic last week so it should still be available.
