2009 Thomas Labaille Sancerre

Slightly oily texture. Vibrant, full-spectrum citrussy, minerally palate with round expansive flavors. Gorgeous wine and friendlier than many young TL Sancerres. Buster hit it out of the park with this one.

Fine match with my first ever attempt at cooking pork belly. Which is also not half bad. Dinner tonight definitely makes up for yesterday's Thanksgiving food :).

The problem with the pork belly is that the delightfully crispy skin just knocked one of my braces off. Damn.

On the other hand the Sancerre is one of the best wines I've had this year.
