Plans set for the The Endangered Species Jeebus?

Said endangered species recently made an appearance in the Offlines' Jeebus / Iverson - Dalton slug-punfest.

This fascinating discussion has attracted a Coadian visitor to the Offline Jeebus area.

Given that the Jeebus in question featured Iverson elk-balls, the manatee is lucky his timing was off.

For similar reasons, it's probably lucky for Coad that his timing was off too.

Personally, I never went in much for elk-balls, but I've gotta say that the local Moose lodge sure knows how to put on a sock-hop.

Wow, Dan, sorry I missed the fact that you are keeping on top of the news related to the menu for TES Jeebus.

No worries. I mainly needed an excuse to bring up Thor's culinary expertise, heretofore unexplored in the Disordered environment.

Technically, I suppose they were at inception...though by the time I got done messing with the flavors, I'm pretty sure they were a purely Iversonian mauling of a perfectly harmless category. Perhaps I got a little crazed in the kitchen when I realized that I wasn't going to be able to get elk in a more whole-muscular form.

Do they even have elk in Spain? Victor, can we get a ruling?

I'm thinking about manatee ceviche, though.

If by elk you mean wapiti, the American elk, then it's closely related to the red deer that are found throughout Western Europe (including parts of Spain) where it hasn't been hunted to extinction. There is also a European elk (alces alces) which is even bigger and not so closely related to our own.

Thanks. You know, in retrospect, I think I remember hearing that in NZ, when they were explaining the origin of their farmed deer...neither whitetail nor red, but crossbred with wapiti, if I recall correctly. And I might not.
