Morgon and debauche

I find this unfair and uncharacteristically mean-spirited, given that I don't know anyone as devoted to sharing.
Oswaldo, did you miss the exchange SFJoe and I had over his photo of supersized wines recumbent in his cellar? It was just a joke, which I'm pretty sure Joe got. De-tumesce your ire.

Alas, no. I wouldn't have been able to type "phallocentric upmanship" if so.

Shouldn't the Politburo be signing on about now to characterize this segment as trite and a little bit juvenile?
This is an important difference between Wd and other boards. On Wd, people figure these things out for themselves.

Perhaps. I was thus publicly censured here once, but then I have a feeling I am held responsible to more stricter rules of engagement on this board than others.

We expect more from you because you are the only nice person here.

In truth, the remark you quote is snarky in the extreme, plus I blew my top at Joe recently. So my feet have a certain clay-like feeling in the nice department just now. Probably a good moment for hiatus.

Bastard, you're going to Paris for two months too?

Um, so, I've often wondered about this : do the Gang purposefully avoid the rustic side of Morgon, or is it just not part of their spectrum?

Frankly, it's been rough. Haven't adjusted to the schedule, namely getting to bed at a ridiculously early hour to get enough sleep before getting up at a ridiculously early hour. At least we are giving ourselves a day off now - so that we can run errands.

Haven't really figured out how to coordinate the oven and the dough, to have them both ready at the same time. And I could complain all day long about the bread - though other people seem to like it.

Slowly building the wine list has been a gas though. We started out all-Charnay, all-the-time; we've blown through all the JPB wine in the province, all the Texier wine in the province - almost - still holding a few bottles of Brzme. A large quantity of Trinch is now gone, as are anecdotal quantities of Clos Senechal and Les Nuits d'Ivresses. This was our first month of operation. We've added a couple of Hillier Pinot Noirs. It is a real challenge, though, finding wine in this province.

Tomorrow is our day off: sweet.
