Louis Larmat's vintage "Atlas de la France vinicole" series is well worth investigating. Big step up in price though.

How about a large aerial photo? See your favorite French vineyard from above at IGN arienne. It's possible to buy prints, even wall-size ones.
 
On my first trip to the Loire, I remember walking through that vineyard at 10-something in the evening, or thereabouts, with the sky still relatively light and a full moon overhead. Theresa, who I don't think had ever had a wine from there (though we fixed that the next evening, with a dusty old bottle that was unimaginably cheap during a very poor time for the franc), kept wondering what the big deal was.
