Saw my oncologist, brain surgeon and internist these past two days.

I have been on mega-doses of steroids the past five weeks to calm brain inflammation and try to stabilize cancerous activity. For nine days, I was being pumped steroids intravenously. During this time, I have also had brain surgery.

All this has made me a little crazy and I have gone too far on this board. I ask your patience although I know I have made this board difficult for many.

My apologies to all.

Right now, tasting notes are particularly difficult for me because my taste is totally screwed up by the cocktail of drugs I am taking. I hope to be writing some general contributions about great wines, great terroir and great vines I remember.

This is my last word on this whole episode.
