Superb! Still quite dark showing a slight hue change at the rim. We popped and poured this and took small tastes over the course of 2 hrs. It was showing nice aromas of blackberry spice initially, but with time more developed nuances were evident: grilled meats, iodine, white pepper, some garrigue. Tastes like it smelled with plenty of fruit, some softening tannins and acidity still keeping this lively. The texture is really nice, sorta of creamy and rich without being overbearing in the slightest. I doubt this wine will continue to develop much more but it will easily last another 5-10 years. This is old vine Syrah with small amounts of Grenache & Mourvdre. A Jeffrey Davis selection. $12.99.
 
does jeffrey davies, signature selections, still exist?

i've tried every googling term i can find (south kearney, nj, etc.), and there seems to be no such business.

also, i've seen no mas clavel wines on american shelves for several years now.
 
wow. that is empty. are they really still in business? yellow pages for signature selections, south kearney, nj, shows no such business.
