An offer I may not be able to refuse?

This month marks my one-year anniversary as a part time wine retailer. I spend the rest of my time teaching middle school math. Today, I was honored to receive an invitation by mail to represent, what I think you all will all agree is bound to be the next cutting edge product amongst serious wine aficionados, CHôCô NOiR®. How can I lose? This product is the ultimate winning combination in flavor profiles, chocolate and Pinto Noir. Along side the wines I sell of famous importers and winemakers, I have been offered the chance to sell a product that, and I quote here “is that perfect combination of chocolate and wine that will add a sensual touch to any occasion.” Fortunately, this is “now available in an elegant 750 ml glass bottle”. Let’s face it: plastic is just so environmentally unfriendly. This could become as popular as the 09 Beaujolais. If only I were making this up.

I've always been fascinated by the gadget section of Brad's book; aerators, charms and such.
This would make a perfect addition.
Best, Jim

There's a guy nearby who makes infused wine, chocolate, fruit, etc. but his specialty is chili pepper and there are even bottlings with increasing levels of heat. Each wine has a fanciful name that is trademarked and I secretly suspect he hopes to sell one off to become the next Bartels and James. Haven't tasted the wine myself but he has fans who love his stuff.

Brad, would you like me to arrange a meeting?

Kay,

Thanks for your kind and generous offer but current commitments require me to pass.

Reading this I thought - "Chocolate infused with wine. That doesn't sound so bad, what's he getting upset about?" The other was so far outside my view of reality that it took 2 readings for the truthiness to filter in. I was picturing a wine bottle filled with little chocolates...

Here's one with Merlot.
I was gifted this. Tastes as you might think.
I think they add the chocolate to make the wine less chocolaty.

Here's another one marketed by our local distributor:

Chocolate infused Port. I can't comment on the quality of the execution as I've not had the liquid.
