I almost thought you were talking about the band oOoOO for a second there.

In the middle of a very drunken night out with Scott Reiner I vaguely remember the fact that we had a bottle of L'Anglore while at Ten Bells. For the life of me I wish I could recall which one. I do remember it being quite good though.

You'd be surprised. The few brain cells hanging around work double time trying to keep ridiculously un-important information like that in place. Truthfully, if I hadn't looked at the label at the time I probably wouldn't have remembered at all.

And, hey, that was the same night we had the .375 of your '95 Syrah to finish up the evening.

I don't think the white makes it to the US, but the reds I have also found crunchy and good, etc.

my recollection matches yours, in that i remember ordering the bottle and also enjoying it, but that is as far as my powers over the past will take me...
 
Several bottles of L'Anglore rose were at the summit of our vinous heights during our last France trip. Amazing stuff.
