Just had the tightest bottle of '09 Foillard thus far. While it certainly wasn't one of the more effusive '09 Morgons,just a few weeks ago it showed a lot more fruit than it did tonight with roast chicken. Tight, with much more mineral and earthiness in the forefront with crunchier fruit.

Seems like a quick shut-down for a vintage in which there's been such concern about flabby wines.

By "a vintage" do you mean this wine or the vintage as a whole?
Are you saying that because this one wine seems shut down people shouldn't be concerned about flabby 2009s?
