2005 Bellivière Hommage à Louis Derré

2005 Domaine de Bellivière Coteaux du Loir Hommage à Louis Derré , alc 14,5%, $36....sticks and pepper on the nose....good fruit with pepper on the palate...tannins are still fairly prominent...great upside with some more bottle time needed...

Thanks for this note. When I bought some of this wine -- untasted -- David Lillie acted a little strangely. He came over to assure me that the wine was good, to ignore what was being said, but to give it a while before opening.

I heeded his advice, but I am curious what the kerfuffle was about.

I'm not positive, but I think he says the same thing about me when I am not around.

This wine has bacterial issues.
