What the Trousseau Gris had going for it was the sense of "hey! this ain't the same ol' shit!" It smelled unique and defied expectation when I tasted it. Like any other new sensation, it'll grow less interesting with repeated exposure, but I'm willing to become jaded like you! Of course, part of the appeal was when I realized that another name for Trousseau Gris is Grey Riesling.
