On first pour - wild intense laser beam of flavor. Uncompromising, it needs time, air and food to unwind. Quite a long finish which eventually turns a bit milder and attractively complex and even touch Baudry-esque at around the 87.24 second mark.

A bit like being hit in the head with a chunk of granite that's laced with veins of pure intense round cherry fruit.

Just had the '06 this afternoon. Very similar, just a bit more intense.
