Unibroue's Ephemere Apple, alc 5.5%... pours cloudy deep yellow with a white foamy head...nose is a mixture of apples and oranges...the palate is very full and crisp and has some light hoppiness....only a touch of bitterness but overall very smooth and robust...great with a panini turkey/ham/provolone sandwich.... a little like a Blue Moon or Stella on steroids...
A beer for cider lovers

From the website "witbier beer brewed with apple must, coriander, and curacao peels. The ABV is 5.5% and the beer hails from Canada".

It's not hard to have more intensity than Blue Moon or Stella.

The latter I have fond memories of because as I student I lived near one of their factories in Belgium and of course it fit the student budget. But I don't have much reason to drink it these days.

Blue Moon I sometimes drink when it is the least offensive choice in a bar. But it's still offensive.

I have enjoyed Ephemere, although not for years. I hardly drink any beer at all any more because of my wine obsession. But I remember it as an elegant brew, and 'for cider lovers' is spot on.
