But she doesn't make a Cerasuolo. Have you been coding Lisp all morning? This is confusing.
Hm. I suppose I mean the SP68. It's too early in my brain.

Ah, Lisp. Haven't written it for ages. Lately, my only coding has been HTML/javascript. Bleh. Been doing more analyst/mgmt stuff. Bleh?

The reverse for me, and approx. ditto Arianna: the Cerasuolo is nice but it's the Frappato for me.

Huh? She makes nero d'avola, frappato, and SP68, which is an approximation of Cerasuolo.
Sorry. That was cryptic of me. Clarification: For COS, I like the Cerasuolo but I prefer the Pithos. For Arianna, I like the Cerasuolo but I prefer the Frappato. Thus I said that I am the reverse of Jay (wrt COS) and approx. ditto of myself (wrt Arianna). "Approx." because she doesn't make exactly the same wines as her uncle but my prefs in both cases are "the Cerasuolo is nice but I prefer X".

But she doesn't make a Cerasuolo. Have you been coding Lisp all morning? This is confusing.

Not enough parentheses for that. And it's not cryptic enough to be Perl. Looks like PHP or Java to me.

I received an earlier offering and snapped up all the back vintages of Pietramarina and VC pallagrello nero.

This is a year to year thing.

In one vintage one has the edge, in another the other.

This is wine. It's not supposed to be easy.
I dunno. Drinking COS has always been pretty easy for me.

Alas, I was joking.

I was tempted by that '01 Palari but my last bottle maybe 6 months ago was cracking up.

Although it was pretty clearly not a correct bottle, it seems to have created some kind of irrational resistance to buying further bottles.

The bottle shared with Jay and others a few years ago was indeed quite nice, however.

And as a follow up to Jay, what do you think of the Benantis? Barrique aged wine composed of international varieties sounds fairly modern.

Benanti is one of the very top names of Sicilia. I love those two wines.

I'd be surprised if those mags were truly in decline. My guess would be that they're reaching their peak now.
