Several of my favorite wine bloggers have gone on hiatus recently or fairly recently. I have poured out 40s of Fernet for each of them.

My reading pool of wine blogs is severely diminished.

Might anyone have suggestions of wine blogs to check out?

No - but have you read "Cooking with Fernet Branca" by James Hamilton-Paterson? It's a hoot.

I was just about to find another Fernet 40 to pour out when I saw your new post.

Go Durham!

It should be renamed the VLM-OR.

I found a really good one, but then the guy started peddling 2000 dV Moose, so I am exercising caution.

I want to thank everyone for their in-depth suggestions.

Very helpful!

It's heartening to know that wine blogging is so popular and pervasive today.

The bar for me is very high. Around here, there is give and take, you can talk to people, have a conversation.

Blogging tends to be more one-way. That means the blogger must have something that holds the floor completely without any unexpected new input. The people who manage this include LD, SB, JD, VLM, but the universe of people who don't manage it is large. I think it's a tough form unless you are a gifted writer.

Most wine blogs are agonizingly dull, some are barely literate.

I haven't discovered a new and exciting one in ages.

That is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my blog.

Isn't it time for 31 days of Natural Bullshit? Cory?

Got some extra graphs sitting around that you are hankering to post up?

I have the Unified Theory of Wine. Just waiting for the opportunity.

You'll definitely hate it.

Ramen Monday or Tuesday?

Sure, man.

I'd rather do Inaka Soba at Soba Koh, though. Less of a line to get in, more texture to the noodle.

I went to Hung Ry this evening, and I missed the greatness that folks are raving about in the printed world.
