I find it amazing that some folks find these and certain other expressions of chardonnay to be mutually exclusive.

I loved Jean Thevenet's Bongran and Emillian Gillet wines before I found Roally and only found Roally when his son took it over from Goyard.

I guess Gautier didn't make many changes since the 06 and 07 wines would have been his.

You're lucky if he'll let you drink any put up by the Cistercians.
 
This was one of those David Lillie "you might like this" wines way back. I seem to recall some deep terroir debates surrounding it.
