2000 Weingut Nigl Senftenberg-Kremstal Riesling Privat , alc 15.5%, $50...fairly dark yellow color...nose is of honeysuckle blossoms...at a great place in it's evolution...still nervy and crisp but starting to show some complexity of fruit with some Asian spice notes....the finish is almost electric...

Great with Murgh Saag and Curried Lentils

15.5% alcohol, do I read that right? Damn that's one spicy meatball, even for Austria. Since you don't mention it, I take it you didn't encounter any heat on the palate? That's even more noteworthy given the food you were eating.
