Dard and ribo's hermitage 09

Drank this last night with Doug Wregg of Les Caves. It was very impressive - pure, linear fruit. Supple and primary - needs time to develop some edges. Last night it was just too easy to drink. Lush, even.

Fun. I haven't had it. But I think easy to drink is more what they have in mind, and it sounds like you caught this at a fine point for what it is.

I'd love to try one of their Hermitage. This one sounds like a good one to find. If I remember hearing right, they didn't make one in '08.

So, Lars, you may recall that a while back you helped me compile a list of places to eat and drink in Paris for my underworked and overcompensated boss. He was grateful for the assistance, and returned with a thank you gift in a bag from Auge.

Ask, and ye shall receive.
