Nebbiolo Prima

This restaurant, with its fantastic terrace views, is owned by the Bovio family, of the eponymous winery. A thanks to the Oddero family for the introduction to this place.

Levi, If you are getting back to Alba, I can't recommend Lalibera (aka L'Alibera), in the heart of the historic center, 24A via Pertinace, highly enough. Maybe best price value ratio of 12-14 great meals we had in the region, but even if it were 2x it would be well worth it. Slick and modern ( in the best way) in decor and fastidiouosly traditional in the food. I recall enjoying a very well priced G. Conterno monfortino there as well.

Thanks for all these posts and pics.

Thanks, I'll be going back in September (-ish) to work the harvest at B. Mascarello. Hopefully, I'll try Lalibera out then.

The style these days would seem to be for an establishment to display their Romano Levi bottles next to a sign declaring "Not For Sale" or somesuch similar. Like the 19 unopened, seemingly pristine bottles that I saw at a local pizzeria in Alba. Or the roughly 200 bottles at Trattoria della Posta:

The owner of the pizzeria explained to us that he had been a collector of Romano Levi bottles for years, and that Romano had been a guest at the establishment. I imagine something similar to have been the case at Trattoria della Posta.
