report of Clos St. Hune premox

It's true that I think Neil Young is the opposite of (good) music. Though he's far from the worst offender. Do any slime molds record semi-atonal crap to Parkeresque acclaim? Because I might be interested, if so.

The restraining orders advise me to avoid answering stalkers, so I don't really know what else there is to say.

I can't answer for anyone else's personal issues.

(later edit follows)
It has been suggested to me that I'm not long for this forum if I continue to act this way. Undoubtedly wise administration, I say without sarcasm (really). So, if so: bye, all.

What a fucking melodrama. Next thing you know Sharon's going to go on indefinite hiatus again.

Hardly. Parker (in)famously walked off the stand when Ornette got up to play back in 1952. Ironic, given Armstrong's reaction to Parker's music.

Not the right Parker.
Leo??? You're getting mighty obscure, my friend (not that he didn't record some quite decent stuff, especially with Fats Navarro, Coleman Hawkins, and Dexter Gordon).

Apropos slime mold, you've no doubt heard the old chestnut about Mahatma Gandhi taking one to some of his early organizational meetings: he wanted to show his followers an example of a peaceful protist.

The story goes on to say he had special music composed for these occasions. Some instruments were hard to come by at that time, so the piece was composed for orchestra without a string section, and came to be known as the 'Non-violins Movement.'

Joe, as far as the rebranding thing goes, they're way ahead of the curve over here....

Thor, want me to check the cattle prod cover colors for you?

Back on topic, Tom Reddick is again beating the drum for Clos Ste. Hune premox (2000 and 2001) on Berserkers (in a Richard Jennings thread on ZH Premox).

he even managed to come up with some premox 88 at one time, something I've never been able to achieve

Of course how would any of us know? We don't actually drink the stuff, just leave it in the cellar until it achieves some mythical state of readiness. (ducking for cover...)
