Where the hell is spring?

I know the calendar says June will begin in a few days, but it feels likes late fall. The temperature has barley risen to 70 degrees in weeks. Saturday it rained for an hour in my part of Marin and there were snow showers forecast for the Lake Tahoe region. So as a public service to all concerned, I implore Florida Jim to return to California forthwith. The last time the man was here in February, the temperatures were in the low 80’s. I understand the difference between correlation and causation but at this point, logic be dammed. I want my spring!

Count your blessings. It's 95 in DC right now and walking down the street feels like swimming in a pool of stagnant sweat. I'll take barely 70 and rainy any day of the week.

Huh? What the hell you talkin' bout, boyee? It's nearly 90-freekin' degrees here in the tundraland! Time for a move, I'd say.

Hot as all hell here right now. I will take all the cool weather anyone wants to send to me.

92 F here today. I've been sweating like a white collar criminal in the dock today when doing yardwork, but now it's time to settle down to some Pinon non-dosé and more salmon. Happy Memorial Day, all!

Here, too. Count your blessings.

Careful what you wish for. We're 240 days and counting since we had a day 70 or above. Broke our own freaking record this week. And rain? Don't get me started.

85* / 61% in my house right now.

Tell me how and I'll send you 15 degrees ambient.

Same here. Broken AC - who knows when they will fix it... 86 downstairs, close to 90 upstairs, with a two year old in the house. Hopefully we'll get some sleep. And I guess it will be 4 months until we see decent weather in DC again.

Jeez, where do you live? This sounds perfect.

We're had 50" of rainfall so far this rain year, which ends at the end of Sept.

We normally get 37" a year!

...Spring hasn't started yet in Portland, OR.

Weather sucks.

I'd settle for a little less schizophrenic weather. Here in the forlorn NE corner of Corntopia we had low 60s for highs on Friday and Saturday and 92 on Monday. My native MN heat-tolerance will take cool over hot any day...

Cheers,

Kevin

I hope it doesn't warm up too fast.
The Columbia and Wenatchee rivers are just about at flood stage now.
If the weather turns hot and all that snow melts, look out.
