MSP Resto?

Anyplace with a decent list in MSP?

For a business meeting, so some bit of formality OK.

Is BYO allowed on the Minneapolis side?

Further comments in response to questioning:

"No restaurant in Minneapolis has a truly great wine list. Those two
restaurants have an interesting wine list, and are BYO
friendly. Call first and say you're a wine geek. "

I'm sadly very out of touch with the MSP restaurant scene. My attempts to find a restaurant with a good wine list have been unsuccessful as well.

If you're in town for a couple days and are in need of vinious provisions, I can heartily recommend St. Paul's Solo Vino. It's theoretically Iberian focused, but there are lots of things to please a disorderly palate. I've seen things from the Dressner and De Maison (cepas vellas!)portfolios as well as Frank C. and a number of interesting things. In this part of the country that constitutes something going out of your way for...

Cheers,

Kevin

Ooh, here's a list worth checking out. I can't vouch for the restaurant, but this
is the best looking list I've come across in a Minneapolis for a long time.

Cheers,

Kevin

Wow, that's great.

Thanks, all, for the ideas. I'll see how much I can influence the client.

Sounds pretty promising from the online reviews, including this one:

Thanks again.

Fab list, a buncha great stuff. We had some real biz to do so could not give the list a vigorous shake, but we drank well.

The food was not in the top 50 restaurants in the country, but there was some fun and tasty stuff and the pricing looked good from my NYC vantage.

Good to hear! I'll definitely have to queue this place appropriately for the next time I'm going out for dinner in Minneapolis.

Cheers,

Kevin
