and there's a lot to harass her over!

can you believe that she has never let us organize a jeebus for her in NYC? never!

the nerve of some people...

Actually, a bazillion years ago at Minetta Tavern - Coad even wrote it up!

Well, technically, it was organized for craig potts and then I announced I'd be in town - this was so long ago Plotnicki was even on the original attendance list!

I promise I'll come up sometime - maybe in the fall (off to Burgundy at the end of this month and that's it for summer travel I think).

anyway my point holds as that was before the days of the jeebus, when people had to be content with offlines.

Mostly for the burgundy talk.

i must admit I've stopped extolling some of my favorite wines in berserkers though i'll still answer specific question if they're asked.

OK, Jay, don't pull a Maureen on us. What are some of your favorite wines that you are keeping secret. [This is a specific question.]

Maureen, of course, fails to point out that during the last years Truchot was making wine, she got some of the best prices ever on Truchot and who told her about the source. Convenient memory while she is trashing me.

Actually, it's too late. I accept full responsibility for the escalation in pricing on drouhin grand crus. It was all my fault.

We can probably take credit for one.
Considering we were drinking it by the case, before it was ever imported.

And I write this proof having tried none of these wines. Pure deductive reasoning.

Only if ">" designates "is better than" which, back when I was taught symbolic logic, was not quite the case.

Well "greater than" must mean that the first wine is greater than the second. Of course if we interpret it as "bigger than" then it's even accurate.

Dom. Serene is the most pretentious winery I've ever been to...worse than Krug....if you can imagine that.

Dom. serene isn't even a top-tier winery for Oregon IMO.
