Germany 2010

(4) producers used to work with higher acidity or cooler sites did very well (Keller and Von Schubert come to mind)

So then how are the Saar showing? Von Hovel, Bert Simon, etc.

Steve no Von Hovel on show in London... Unless you are a Riesling die-hard, I would look at the past 3 vintages as you can pretty much find any match for your taste whether you like it gentle/strong/pure/botrytis... If you are a botrytis junkie, just hop another vintage back (2006)...

F.

PS. I bought much much less than in 2009 which are now closing down in some cases and losing that appeal that made them so easy to buy last year.

Why worry Steve - there's tons of great wine from 2007, 2008 and 2009 still there waiting for you to buy it.

I know I am going very light on 2010. My wallet is happy, and my cellar is happier.
