I've solved it. Apparently, it doesn't work if you click on 'exact matches only', which is what I was doing.

Ok, so say you want to find all the posts started by a specific user. How does one do that?

When I search on "Kane", it comes up with a bunch of your posts, starting with the one about mule feet or mole feet or something.

Exactly. If I just want to find posts I started, or say you started, I can't get just that.
