2010 Joseph Hofstätter Pinot Grigio, alto adige, alc 13%, $14....this is one of the crisp-est, bright-est and most interesting Pinot Grigios I have had in quite a while...it has verve and acidity and an asian spiciness that pique interest....did well with grouper in parchmant with garlic/orange/cilantro with a peach/jalepeno/cilantro fresh salsa

Love Hofstatter! Just wish someone other than Domaine Neglect brought them in.

Yeah, they make some serious Legrein as well.

And on a total tangent, Has anyone heard that Lagrein is possibly related to Syrah somehow?

Both Lagrein and Teroldego have Syrah in their parentage.
