My first bottle of this was oxidized, but this is just lovely. Beautiful clarity in the nose, hints of diesel and tuberose on the nose, more tuberose, flowers and nice sweet lift. This would be great with asian food. Nice work Steve! Natural cork.
 
if I could judge from a bottle opened a couple of days ago, this has made one of those trips back from the dead, where numerous white rhone-grape wines seem to hang out in their adolescences. Its freshness seems back, big-time, and there's pretty nice floral/flinty stuff, and more mid-palate texture. These grapes were so good, I don't see this wine losing energy for quite a long time.
 
Yeah, this wine felt like a very long haul deal. And the texture was terrific.

It's weird, the oxidized bottle (or two) were fairly recent, they must transition pretty fast.

Such a long window though - I've opened way too many Bordeaux blancs during this phase...
