Hello,
We made a very nice dinner at the tgjp in Paris last friday with another Morgon 2009(Desvignes, Descombes, Chamonard, Lapierre, Piron & Chermette) and two VdF Chenin from Richard Leroy.

Ask any questions on the forum and I will try to answer.

Nice work. I assume now is just not a good time for the Descombes? Hard to imagine them failing with a vegetal wine in 09.

The wines are showing slimmer now, in my experience. I'll wait a few more years before opening the next one. 2010s drinking nicely, with bright acid, so I prefer those.

I'm sort of shocked about the note on the Descombes. We're selling and reselling plenty of it to suburbanites who've been raving.

Well the suburbs are known for their leafy qualities in this country.

But what's this about reselling the same wine. That's a pretty clever way to develop more profit.

It's way easier when they come back without me hand-selling. Besides, I'm in the Garden State where every day is either a flower or fruit day. As for profit, I get paid the same whatever folks buy. I'm just subversively bringing the real wines to the people that folks like Descombes and LDM made available.
