That's been the plan, and the recent thread got me curious. I happened upon a stray bottle in the cellar and gave it a shot. I just didn't seem to have a lot of life left and on day two was a total goner. But I will wait...
When I visited Jean Paul last year I mentioned to him I was aging a couple cases and we didn't go into it in depth but he seemed to think it was maybe not a great idea and suggested I check in on it.
It is very possible that the wine is just not in a good place right now. Certainly not the first time that would have happened.
Eric, about another wine - I have some older vintages of your Brezeme VV/Perrault (00/01). I have been planning on holding them for fifteen, does that make sense to you? That is my normal practice with good Northern Rhones.

The last bottles of these 2 I had this summer were quite good. But, at least for the 2001, able to age quite a bit more!
