Catena Alta Malbec 2005

My boyfriend opened this by mistake tonight, looking for a cheap and simple drink. Turns out it goes for 50$ (one of my guests a while ago must had been more generous than I gave credit for).

While I can see some of the qualities described in a bunch of raving reviews (91 to 96 points...per wineries website), a fun drink it was not. Two of us did barely finish a half bottle. Curious whether it will be any more exciting tomorrow.

We certainly enjoyed the Chateau d"Oupia ($10) a couple of days ago much more. Disappeared in no time. Thanks Joe.
