2005 Domaine Parent Pommard Les Epenots, premier cru, alc 13%...nice and earthy...showing a great black fruit profile...tannins are still moderate...has good upside potential...provides pleasure...

We met Anne Parent last year at a wine dinner here...what a delightful person...really like her wines as well...

Steve, I recently posted here a big tout on the Michel Ganoux Pommard Les Grandes Epenots 1er Cru '05. Sounds like the high quality levels are similar even if the wines might be different.

On Burgundy? Elaborate? Discuss? Dr. or anyone's experience with this sort of thing. I'm not incredulous, just curious...

I don't note color profiles much these days, but I could see that fitting many NSG wines.
